Parameters

buffer Byte: Binary image to parse.
startIndex Int32: Start index into buffer to begin parsing.
length Int32: Length of valid data within buffer.

Return Value

Int32
The length of the data that was parsed.

Remarks

The base implementation assumes that all channel definitions begin with a label as this is the general case, override functionality if this is not the case.
