Places an ellipsis at the end of a string as it is trimmed to length specified.

- The maximum returned string length; minimum value is 5.
String
A trimmed string of the specified
length or empty string if
value is null or empty.

String. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see

Returned string is not padded to fill field length if value is shorter than length.
