Parameters

array  T
Array to validate.
startIndex  Int32
0-based start index into the array.
length  Int32
Valid number of items within array from startIndex.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type T. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).

Exceptions

ArgumentNullExceptionarray is null.
ArgumentOutOfRangeExceptionstartIndex or length is less than 0 -or- startIndex and length will exceed array length.
